Frequent Asked Questions
General Questions
How do I choose the right level?
If you’re unsure which program fits best, we recommend booking an FREE assessment. Our instructors will evaluate your swimmer and recommend the most suitable class.
Can new students join anytime?
Yes. New swimmers can join based on availability and level placement.
Do you offer trial classes?
Trial options may be available depending on schedule and program. Please contact us to check current availability.
Class Structure
What is your class ratio?
Ratios vary by program to ensure quality instruction. Most group classes range from 1:3 to 1:5 depending on age and level.
How long are classes?
Class length varies by program:
- Preschool: 30 minutes
- Group lessons: typically 45–60 minutes
- Private lessons: 60 minutes
- Adult classes: 90 minutes
Do students move up automatically?
No. Advancement is based on skill mastery, not time spent. This ensures swimmers develop real ability before progressing.
Safety & Instruction
Are instructors certified?
Yes. All instructors are trained and qualified to teach swimming and water safety.
What if my child is afraid of water?
That’s completely normal. Our instructors specialize in helping swimmers build confidence gradually in a safe and supportive environment.
Do you focus more on fun or technique?
Both. We believe swimmers learn best when lessons are engaging while still structured and skill-focused.
Registration & Policies
Do I need to stay during my child’s lesson?
Yes, parents/guardians must remain on-site for younger swimmers.
What should students bring?
Swimsuit, towel, goggles (recommended), and a positive attitude.
Can we switch classes if the level isn’t right?
Yes. If placement needs adjustment, our team will help move swimmers to a more suitable level when space is available.
What is the policy if a student needs to miss a class?
To request a cancellation, parents must notify the club at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class time. Upon timely notification, a makeup token will be issued to your account, which can be used to book a makeup lesson.
Please note that if a student misses a class without providing 24 hours’ advance notice (a “no-show”), the lesson will be forfeited, and no makeup token or credit will be issued. This policy ensures we can maintain our student-to-coach ratios and offer open spots to other swimmers.
Camps
Do campers need to know how to swim?
No. Camps welcome all levels, as long as children can change independently.
How do camp registrations work?
Camp sessions are registered weekly.
Private Lessons
Who are private lessons best for?
Private lessons are ideal for swimmers who want personalized instruction, faster progress, or targeted technical improvement.
