
Head Coach
Yi Li, the head coach who has full responsibility for programs in the pool and hires all instructors . She been involved in all aspects of swimming for the better part of the last twenty years. She has been coaching and teaching swimming periodically for the last 10 years. Prior to joining Chaco Swim, Yi served as the Coach of Meng Zhui Wan Swim Club in Chengdu, Sichuan, China.
In additional to her teaching experience, Yi began competitive swimming during her early childhood on a amateur swim club in Chengdu. She soon fell in love with the swimming and started competing year-round for Sichuan Provincial Swim Team at the age of 9. In 1993, she got the honor of “best swimmer" in Chengdu youth swimming team. In 1996, Yi rose to the level of a national-ranked youth swimmer. In 2001, she participated her last competition for University of Sichuan in Guangzhou and went to Canada as an international student.

Age Group Coaches
Cindy Fu,a former national master swimming athlete with the honor of National Master of Sports in China, She has certified in National Lifeguard and completed the coaching training in NCCP-Level 2. Cindy was starting her swimming career in the age of 6, and joined the Provincial swimming team in the age of 8 (Year 2000). In 2001, Cindy competed in the national ranked junior group and won her first national gold medal for individual 200M Butterfly. Due to her outstanding performance in the National Youth Swimming Championship, she was selected in National Swimming Team in 2002. She has been coaching for Chaco Swim Clun since 2010 and has over 6 years’ experience as a swimming coach. Currently, Cindy is studying the course of Early Child Care Education in Seneca College.

Coco Meng is a certified lifesaving and swimming instructor and has the back ground experience in synchronized swimming for 7 years, both in training and competitive levels for Provincial and National competitions in Canada and China. She and her teammates has win the second place in 2007 Provincial Synchroniz Championship. She has been teaching swimming for over 3 years now with students range from age 3 to teen and adults. Coco has a strong passion for seeing her students strive and motivating them to love and enjoy the sport of swimming.

Gao yuan swimming athlete from Shenyang, China, who has more than five years instruction experience on swimming and obtains the Canada Swimming Teacher Certificate – NCCP Level 1. He is friendly, patient, responsible, and has great communication skills with children. Gao mainly response for teaching the level of Swimmer 1 & 2.
